An independent catalogue guide, its referral links and its limits
Not part of CNFans, not a shop, not a finds feed. A small guide to the menu behind the card, and an account of how it pays for itself.
The people behind the Swatchbook
The Swatchbook is written and kept by a small independent team that kept explaining the same option mistakes to friends and decided to write them down once. We are not part of CNFans, we do not sell anything, and we have no arrangement with any shop whose menu we describe.

How the site earns, and what that changes
Links from this site to catalogue shelves and search results carry tracking tags, and the catalogue can pay a referral fee when a visit leads to a purchase. The button to cnfans.com also carries tags. While cnfans.com shows its maintenance notice the button goes to the plain home address; if the shop reopens and we change the button to a sign-up address with an invitation code, this paragraph will say so.
Referral payments do not decide what the pages say. No shop, agent or catalogue reviews these pages before they go up, and none can buy a mention. The thing a referral can change is which links appear at all, which is why every catalogue link here points to a whole shelf or a search rather than to a single product.
What this site will not list
This site does not list, link to or help anyone buy counterfeit goods, and it does not explain how to find them. The drawings carry no brand marks, and the catalogue photos on the shelf cards stand for a category, not for a recommended product. Where a listing we transcribed was clearly selling marked goods, we used its menu structure only and printed nothing that could lead back to it.
We also leave out anything that would help get a parcel past rules it should meet. Questions about customs, declarations or restricted goods are for the agent and the carrier, not for a guide to option menus.
What we do differently from other catalogue guides
Most catalogue guides end at the card: a photo, a price, a link. We start after it, at the menu, because the line you pick decides what arrives and the card cannot show it. That is the whole of what we do differently, and it is why this site has a sample menu instead of a feed of finds.
It also means the site is smaller than a finds list and changes more slowly. We would rather publish fewer pages that stay true than a long list of prices that are out of date by the weekend.
